Gene Hackman's portrayal of Popeye Doyle is Phenomenal. The film has fantastic Cinematography. The 2nd film was a great conclusion to what was done in the first film. Not alot of people cared for the French Connection II, but it is a companion piece to the Academy Award winning original.
